What is Lego's you ask.... an awesome fun way to get kids loving engineering, math, and science! They create the robot, the board, and program it to complete challenges. As part of the competition they also do a research project and have to present it to a panel of judges.

Avery's Lego competion

This was part of their competion last Saturday. This video shows Avery's team receiving the high score for the day- They will be competing again Saturday at the state competion in Seattle!

Emily came to visit over the Memorial Day weekend - Fun Family Time!

Soccer

Half way through the spring soccer season I decided to move Ciennna off of my team that I was coaching. Bre was on that team and Cienna was the youngest one on the team and would hardly participate. It was amaizing to see her play with kids her own age and not having me as the coach! She made goals every game she played adn suddenly loved soccer!

At Discovery School they always have an end of year performance along with the 6th grade graduation. Avery and her friends made up some actions to go along with the words to one of the songs they were singing. So the music teacher let them perform it - it was really cute! I have seen Avery come out of her shell so much this last year. (Well really all three of them have!)

Amelia made the coolest Webkinz cake - a new Talent she's developed! Nice Job!

Look at what $20 can buy at Clairs! Breann got money from the Foust family for her birthday - we made a trip to Claires and she got the hat, arm things, adn glasses! She picked them all out herself - she's my style'n 7 year old girl! Thanks Hannah and John!

We went to roller valley the other weekend - CiCi hated it - But Avery and Breann were Rockin Awesome out there!

Discovery School sang last night at Bethel AME Church as part of the Martin Luther King celebration here in Spokane. The kids were so cute and imagine our surprise in the morning to see them on the front page of the Spokesman Review! Avery and CiCi you can see easily - Breann is only half way in, standing by Cienna.
